One-way traffic

Applies along part of the route

• You cannot enter Muntstraat if you come from Tiensestraat.
• You cannot enter Tiensestraat from De Somerplein.

Dogs and buggies

• Buggies, strollers, bicycle trailers... are not allowed in Muntstraat. A supervised buggy parking area is available at the corner of Muntstraat and Naamsestraat.
• Dogs are not allowed in Muntstraat.

Oude Markt

Beer market: ongoing

Enjoy beer responsibly and learn more about it at our beer market. Discover more than 100 freshly poured speciality beers, carefully selected by the cafés on the square.

Bartender race: 15:00

In the afternoon, you can come and cheer at the traditional bartenders’ race. Leuven’s bartenders will run like mad in their efforts to claim the title.

For one day, the Grand Market Square transforms into a cosy food village where choosing what to eat will be the hardest part.

At the Grand Market Square, we use reusable cutlery. You can collect and return it at a dedicated stand.
